Had an excellent experience with Rising Sun. They are one of the only honest solar installers I found in the area. People like American Sentry Solar just basically try to scam you. Instead, Rising Sun works with you to try to figure out your energy consumption and creates an appropriate solution. I had other companies pitch me 5-8kW systems for about the same OR MORE cost than the 20kW system I got with Rising Sun. Installation was a breeze. I will be honest, the estimation of construction time was not really accurate, but I would much rather get the job done right than fast. It only took a week anyway. I've had my system for about 3 months now and everything has been working perfectly, and I have produced more than I use even as the heat ramps up and I run the AC constantly. One part of the process that can be improved is the BGE process, and this really is probably a knock on BGE than Rising Sun, but it took longer than expected to get PTO. Overall you will be glad you went with Rising Sun over any of the competition.
