I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Rising Sun! I sent initial inquires to several solar companies and Rising Sun was the first to respond and provide an estimate of service, a diagram of the setup, and payment options. James took care of everything from applying to available grants and there is a customer portal showing all applicable steps in the process. Ryan and his team completed the install and were fantastic! Even though my electrical panel was turned horizontally, Ryan went through great pains to correct it. His team were all polite and made sure to keep my cat inside. The entire process has been painless and I received permission to turn my panels on this weekend! Let the solar power begin! If you want solar panels, you cannot go wrong with Rising Sun.

I can’t say enough great things about Rising Sun Solar Solutions (RSSS). I had been meaning to write a review about how fantastic the entire experience has been, but life kept getting busy and I never got around to it. Fast forward to today, and as I write this review, we’ve experienced our first issue with our system. The impressive part is that RSSS detected the problem before I even knew anything was wrong. They contacted me, explained the issue, and let me know they were already sending a technician out to take care of it. That level of proactive customer service is hard to find. When we first started the process in March 2025, I was skeptical about solar. I had plenty of questions and wasn’t convinced it was the right decision. Now, over a year later, I can honestly say I’m incredibly glad we chose RSSS and made the switch to solar. From the initial consultation through installation and now ongoing support, RSSS has demonstrated that they truly care about their customers. The Solar system on my house went dead. So I called the company that put The panels up. They told me they couldn’t help me before the end of June. I called Rising Sun Solar Solutions. They were very busy, but could come by next day to take a look. They fixed the problem in about 10 minutes. They know what they’re doing.

After getting several quotes we ended up going with Rising Sun Solar. I liked how it was a small family business, additionally they were very responsive and genuine when most the other companies were not. For example they did not send quotes with addons included and insurance plans as a baseline. I had a great overall experience working with James and Shaun. They really do a great job listening giving you the exact look you want. I would highly recommend this solar company to anyone looking for solar.

I interviewed around 8 solar companies last fall, trying to find someone that could get me installed before the end of 2025 to capture the tax credit before expiration. Rising Sun had, by far, the best price and were confident that they could get it installed by EOY. I also felt the most comfortable when speaking with them as there were no high pressure tactics, rushing to get you to sign, etc. I worked directly with James who assisted with me through several iterations of layouts and updated pricing for each. He was my POC from initial contact to system commissioning. James, Shaun, Ryan and the rest of the team were always responsive, knowledgeable, and kept me informed on what was going on and next steps. The install looks great and I'm looking forward to minimal BGE bills for the next 30+ years as electricity rates continue to climb.

The whole team was excellent and very transparent throughout the whole process of getting my ground mounted array. My project had some delays, due to my county and their permitting process and not Rising Sun. The Rising Sun team was incredibly patient and helpful navigating those issues, even willing to make changes to get things done. They were always available to answer questions and concerns. The installation crew did a great job. Really happy with my decision to use Rising Sun. I had talked to about 4-5 different companies before choosing them. You won't go wrong with them
